Well, that's a wrap on 11 days filled with countless memories of inspiring artists sharing their passion, making wonderful new friends, enthusiastic audiences, kind words, late-night shenanigans and giggle fits on stage. As always, it was great to chat with audience members after screenings and get their feedback on the films – even when they didn’t feel the same way as I did! I had a blast and thanks to everyone who came out and to the brilliant staff, Board and volunteers who made it all happen.
Looking forward to 2015 already! Get ready for a very special 25th anniversary celebration.
Enjoy the sunshine and I’ll see you in the dark!

Now that the 24th Toronto LGBT Film Festival has wrapped, Inside Out is pleased to announce a couple late additions to Bent Lens: Pride on Screen.
On Wednesday June 25 at 9:30pm at the Al Green Theatre (JCC, 750 Spadina Avenue), in celebration of Edith Windsor’s pivotal role in 2013’s historic U.S. Supreme Court decision to strike down DOMA and her appearance at the WorldPride Gala, Inside Out is pleased to present a screening of the 2009 documentary Edie and Thea: A Very Long Engagement.
On Friday June 27 at 7pm at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Inside Out presents the Audience Award Winner from our 2014 Festival, Tru Love. A sold-out hit, the engaging romantic comedy from local directors Kate Johnston and Shauna MacDonald chronicles the romance between 37-year-old womanizer Tru and the 60-year-old mother of her best friend.
Inside Out and TIFF are pleased to join forces to bring you Bent Lens: Pride on Screen, the premier cinematic event of World Pride. Highlights include: Derek Jarman retrospective, free outdoor screenings of Rope and A League of Their Own, Hedwig and the Angry Inch Sing-a-Long with John Cameron Mitchell in attendance and so much more!
