This week was the Speech from the Throne where the Federal Government presented it's priorities for the next Parliamentary session. It was written by Prime Minister Trudeau and his team but read by the Governor General according to Parliamentary protocol.

REACTIONS:
The reactions have been mixed.
Both Jagmeet Singh, leader of the NDP and The Hon. Candice Bergen from the Conservative Party sharply criticized it in the House of Commons as not containing a strong enough plan on COVID-19.
Premieres, including Jason Kenny, have sharply criticized it as being tone-deaf to the provinces & focusing on trending issues rather than what Canadians need.
