Looking for a Few Volunteers

Volunteers needed for Bible Breakout Tots from 9:30-10:20am & for Nursery from 11am-12:15pm. While all ages are more than welcome in Worship, we will continue to have
nursery care available for our littlest ones (ages 0-2).

Bible Breakout Tots ~ Volunteers must be able to commit to serving on a weekly basis from 9:30-10:20am, providing a brief Bible reading and a simple activity for the 0-5 year old age group for an entire quarter (3 months) at a time.

Nursery ~ Volunteers must be able to commit to serving one Sunday per month from 11am-12:15pm, providing care and a safe and comfortable atmosphere to play while parents/guardians are in the worship service.

Not sure you're ready to commit to a quarter or to one Sunday a month? Substitutes are also needed and deeply appreciated! Sign up to be available when a scheduled volunteer cannot
serve - a great way to help and to see if you'd like to start serving regularly in the future!

All volunteers and substitutes required to sign background check applicant release form and code of conduct. Pastor and Elders reserve the right to use discernment and remove responsibilities
from volunteers when necessary for the spiritual and physical well-being of the children.

The hot weather this week has kept us inside more than we like but we have still been busy! We had our first visit from the Crestview Middle School class and tomorrow will be the second visit for the High School group. Next week will see the visits from the Leetonia High School class starting. We have moved donations into the warehouse and carried food staple items upstairs to make room for more to come at the donation table. With the help of the students, we sanitized the toys in the Sprouts Room and Nursery again. (Fighting germs is just like fighting weeds - there is always more to do!) Of course, we also have spent time cleaning the building and we will be moving and setting up tables for the church's Potluck Lunch. Today is CSA day, so everyone (Including Miss Jill, on her Birthday, no less! Thanks Miss Jill!) has been harvesting, washing, and sorting. Only three more CSA days after today!

We have three events this month so our crew has been making jam like crazy! We want to be stocked up so we can supply everyone's jam cravings. Ice cream topping. PB&J sandwiches. Meat glaze. Yogurt mix-in. Cracker spread. The list of yummy things to do with our jams is extensive! What is your favorite way to use Jungle Jam or Juicy Jam?

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
