Registration Is Open For Student-Athletes & Coaches

Picture111

Let's get Season 10 rolling! In case you haven't heard, we have a new registration system that replaces the Pit Zone. CCN is the technology provider behind our new platform.

All parents/guardians of student-athletes active in 2021 recently received an email with a custom link. Using the link ensures all information will carry over from prior years. If you do not use this link your data will not transfer.

Likewise, all returning coaches received a personalized email, too. If you are already registered as a coach, the link allows you to connect with your other family members once you have logged in. If you do not already have an account, you will be asked to create one with a password but you will still connect up when you use the login provided.

If your custom link has expired, or you were unable to complete registration the first time through, you can complete registration through the universal registration page.

Each team has been assigned a unique Pass Code to ensure only authorized individuals can register for specific teams. If you do not know your team's Pass Code or your child is changing schools and will joining a different team, please contact the your team head coach or team director for the Pass Code.

We have created step-by-step guides, complete with screenshots, to help you navigate the registration process.

For questions or additional information email us at info@arizonacycling.org.

Preseason Team Training Limits

During the preseason (April 1 through June 30) teams are allowed to have up to six (6) scheduled activities (bike check and/or fits, mechanical workshops, fun rides, skills clinics). These activities must be pre-approved by the ACA. Please complete the Preseason Activity Approval Form at least five (5) days in advance of the first activity.

Remember, your team is not covered by the ACA's insurance until team registration is completed. Coaches and riders must registered in CCN prior to participating in team activities.

Leadership Summit & MTB Skills Training

0B6A0717

Our second of two Leadership Summit and MTB Skills Training conferences this spring is coming up May 14-15 at Emmanuel Pines in Prescott. Attending the event forms the foundation of our coach license program and is an ideal opportunity for both new and seasoned coaches to connect and share thoughts. It's the perfect environment to get charged up for the upcoming season

The summit brings together head coaches, team directors, team coaches (of all levels) and parent volunteers—to develop skills and knowledge, share strategies, and build community. It also provides the opportunity for participants to learn all about the ACA structure and processes, how to work with their schools, issues related to liability and the unique intricacies of working with teenage cyclists.

Member Benefits

Thanks to the generosity of ACA sponsors, we are able to offer some really great benefits to registered student-athletes and coaches who successfully complete the ACA coach licensing program. Visit the Member Benefits page on our website for the current offers.

Please note, the combination of extraordinary sales and supply chain disruptions has made it difficult for companies to meet demand. This is true for many of our supporters. We ask that the ACA community be patient as there may be product delays.

Free USA Cycling Membership For Student-Athletes

USA Cycling logo.svg

USA Cycling is offering free junior and discounted family memberships to our student-athletes and ACA race results are recognized in the USAC ranking system (USAC license number required). This facilitates USAC Regional and National Championship call-ups and optimize the opportunity for riders to compete in a variety of events.

While completing student-athlete registration in the CCN, parents have the option to enter their child’s USAC license number, if they have one. This field is not mandatory and can be updated at any time. Learn more about USAC membership and join here.
