Graduating SupportNet Interns

REMC would like to say, Thank You to our graduating interns. While working for REMC1 they are the frontline to our SupportNet Helpdesk, and help with many aspects of REMC. We wish you: Michael, Stephen, and Andrew, the best of luck in your future endeavors. It has been a pleasure having you as part of our REMC1 Team.

Google for Education Certified Trainer

IMG 0962

REMC1 is pleased to announce that our Educational Technologist, Steve Kass, was recently selected as a Google for Education Certified Trainer. Steve accomplished this by demonstrating his subject-matter expertise by first achieving the Trainer Essentials certificate and then through the successful delivery of Google for Education training sessions over the past year. Steve is among the small handful of educators that hold this status in Michigan. Congratulations Steve!

MACUL 2016

On May 6, the MACUL organization will be traveling to Kingsford to conduct the UP MACUL Conference. This conference is an abridged variation of the spring conference that was conducted a few weeks ago in Grand Rapids.

Last year's conference was a huge success and we recommend sending as many teachers as you can. REMC1 is planning on chartering a bus to help GOISD and CCISD educators travel to Kingsford. We are chartering two buses: one that will leave Hancock and another that will leave Ironwood. Both buses will make stops along the way to pick up people.

If any of your staff would be interested in riding the bus, please complete the following form by April 8: http://sl.remc1.org/upmacul16 . We will need a minimum of 15 riders on each bus in order to make it a go.
