Early Childhood in the News

Talking is Teaching

We are so excited to bring Talking Is Teaching resources to Kalamazoo County! Many other counties across Michigan are using these beautiful designed messages from Too Small To Fail to reach families in a variety of settings - from the laundromat to the grocery store, from the church pew to the doctor's office.

Updates to Child Care Subsidy

Please check out this newly updated webinar from the Michigan Department of Education which outlines the eligibility process for parents to receive child care subsidy as part of the Child Development and Care (CDC) program. This webinar covers how to qualify for child care assistance, how to apply and how parents can find a provider who can participate with the CDC program. More information and resources about child care subsidy and the CDC program can be found at www.michigan.gov/childcare.
