Take time to reflect on the freedom we have because of those who fought for our country. Some gave all so we could have the freedom we enjoy today. Thank you to our Savior Jesus who sacrificed His life so we can have eternal life with Him. Oh, what love!" "My WORD for the week is “IMPACT.” The definition of the word is a significant or major effect. Made me start to think – what “impact” are we making for the kingdom? Some of us are really stepping out and doing our part while others may be sitting on the bench as a spectator. The Holy Spirit wants us ALL to “impact” those we encounter every day. How can we do that, you ask? Well, it could be as simple as a smile to really make someone’s day. Or when is the last time we invited someone to lunch or bought them a cup of coffee or beverage of choice? When we say we will pray for someone – do we do it right then? Stop what we are doing and get down to business. I am so thankful for the ways my church reaches out to “impact” the community around us. This is such a fantastic ministry that goes beyond our church walls to make a difference in people’s lives. If we can all catch a glimpse of how much more the Holy Spirit has planned for us to do if we just listen to His voice. Watch and listen for those opportune times to “impact” others in our day to day. I am excited to see what is around the next bend – aren’t you? Now everyone is enjoying a well-deserved few days off! Our adventures included delivering tables to Tori's house for the celebration of Jack Snyder's graduation (Congratulations. Jack!!!), enjoying lunch at Pizza Hut, making some baby bunny friends, continuing work on the new raised bed area, garden care, and a wonderful harvest for the second day of the CSA season. Additionally, our most dedicated volunteer, Miss Nicolette Vignon, was back to help this week. Thanks, Nicolette! | Next week will see us in the kitchen for some jam making, as we get ready for the July 13 Youngstown Flea. If you are in the area, you really should check out this phenomenal local market. H&H is a non-profit organization that reaches out to the community and provides Awareness, Education, Assistance, and Outreach Programs regarding Individuals with Special Needs and Disabilities and their families. We will not be accepting large furniture, televisions, car seats, and computers. If you need help unloading, Goodness Grows folks are usually available weekdays from 9:15am-1:45pm.
