Roses, Wine & Murder

Mysterious events start happening to Roxanne after she discovers a well-dressed man dead in her city garden.

Detective Morrison questions Georgi, a flamboyant wine aficionado, who has something to gain from the man's death.

The madcap duo of Roxanne and Georgi find themselves in a game of intrigue as they search for clues about the killer. Poisonous plants, blackmail and disguises confound them.

The detective attempts to take control of the case before the U.S. President visits the Coast Guard Academy for the graduation ceremonies. Will the killer interrupt the event?

Roses, Wine & Murder is a fast-paced mystery filled with wit and friendship, an enigmatic villain, and a quirky lawyer. All the while, wine tastings and food pairings endure in the City of Steeples on the grand shores of Long Island Sound.

Thames River Wine & Spirits in New London was inspirational.

The villain learns exquisite cigars are enjoyed in the upstairs smoking lounge, while the most precious vintages of wine are kept deep in the recesses of the underground wine cellar.

Professional Reviews:
The story combines aspects from different genres - thriller, historical, mystery, and crime fiction - and pulls the reader into an intriguing world. Roses, Wine & Murder has a beautiful setting, a gripping plot, and readers can't resist the wonderful pacing. It's one of the most entertaining books I have read this year." Arya Fomonyuy, Readers' Favorites - '5 Star Review'

"The brilliantly woven canvas upon which Rose tells her story has it all from pirates to poisonous plants! I implore all of you to curl up on the couch with a warm cup of tea or a nice glass of wine, clear your mind and escape into Roses, Wine and Murder." Terry Scott, Editor, and Author of Shattered Rose

"I fill my stories with facts and details to entertain and educate you while on the adventure.
Many of the locations are set in beautiful Southeastern Connecticut by the shores of Long Island Sound where vineyards, gardens, fine wine and food pairings delight, and in this story... death disturbs all tranquility!"
