“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” God has indeed raised from the dead the one who was put to death “by hanging him on a tree.” Alleluia! God allows Jesus to appear “to us who were chosen by God as witnesses” in holy baptism and invites us to eat and drink at the table of the risen Christ. Alleluia!

Visit the Prisoner...

Sunday, April 28 at 9:30 am

James Morgan, a previously-imprisoned person, is coming to Lake Edge to tell about his experiences with our prison system – with specific emphasis on how hard it is to get away from it after being released.

James will speak as part of a program about what MOSES does to help prisoners like him rebuild their lives, both inside of prison and after release.

James currently works as a peer counselor for Madison Urban Ministry, helping recently released prisoners get housing, jobs, and other needs.

You, too, can make a difference to the rehabilitation of prisoners! We want Lake Edge to be more involved with MOSES. Please come to hear James, as well as MOSES members from Lake Edge and from other churches, tell us how.
