15 Years

“No act of kindness is too small. The gift of kindness may start as a small ripple that over time can turn into a tidal wave affecting the lives of many.”- Kevin Heath

When Cindy created the first pillowcase for Ryan, a hamburger themed one, she could not imagine it would spark a movement that would inspire thousands of volunteers and donors to get involved. Today, as we kick off our celebration to honor our 15 years as an organization, we are THANKFUL FOR each and every one of YOU who have given so generously of your time, talent and treasure to help provide comfort and support to children with cancer and other life-changing illnesses and injuries. Thank you for being a part of the 'tidal wave' of support!

Stay tuned and please look for our emails as we continue to celebrate this milestone over the next 15 months!

"My son was having a hard time breathing. I took him to the emergency room where they quickly diagnosed him with pneumonia. He was rushed by ambulance to Banner Children's... where he spent the night in the PICU. When we got to the room it was rather dull other than a beautiful blue and red pillowcase with all his favorite construction vehicles on it. The pillowcase brightened up a scary situation and he clung to that pillow the rest of the time he was in the hospital. When we were taken out of the PICU the only thing he was worried about that I had was his pillowcase and his blanket from home... This brought him comfort from moving from a place he was familiar with to an unfamiliar place... these pillowcases really do make a difference and as a parent I appreciate it more than words can express. THANK YOU!"
