Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! | Sunday Morning Bible Study ~ 9:30am Studying the Book of Jude. We will be planning our next study, as Jude is coming rapidly to a close. You are invited to jump into a study whenever you can! Ladies Bible Study ~ Friday, 9am The Armor of God, Bible Study Book This week, we are working on Week Six. We will be choosing our next topic of study, as we are finishing up our current book, so please read and think about Jen's message below. We would love to have YOU join us! | Ladies Bible Study Message from Jen Shannon We are about to finish our "Armor of God" study and need to be looking ahead at what to do next. This Friday morning, we will discuss what we've learned about the Helmet of Salvation in our lessons and watch the final teaching on the Sword of the Spirit. There are no lessons in our book following this, but my plan was to use our time on March 5th to discuss the teaching on the Spirit and share what YOUR TAKE-AWAY was from this study. In the meantime....please be considering what you would like to do next. Always, the studies from Moody publishers are GREAT! Link here: Moody Women's Bible Studies. Last time I found this one, Jesus in Me, about the Holy Spirit that I liked and sent it to you to look at, too. Also, Priscilla Shirer has done other studies that are listed in the back of our books and can be seen in the link here: Lifeway. It would be GREAT to have an idea of what we want to do THIS FRIDAY so we can get books ordered to start-up mid-March. What do you think? Do you have anyone you'd like to invite to join us? What study can you get excited about and want to have a friend come learn with you? I'll be praying for a good discussion and God's leading in our direction as we move forward together. ~~~ | Wednesday Morning Prayer Group 10am, participate via Zoom ~ Personal Meeting ID: 6936117456, Password: prayer | LifeGroups Designed to help adults grow as Christ followers: * Taylor LifeGroup: Sundays, 6pm at the Taylor house * Weimer LifeGroup: Tuesdays, 10am on Zoom * Bartholomew LifeGroup: Meeting tomorrow, February 26, 7pm at CGCC ~~~ | Children's Ministries Meetings Sunday Children's Ministry Volunteer Meeting: Brief meeting to follow Worship THIS Sunday. But how do you get closer to Him? You’ve got to train your spirit! In this four-part series, kids will learn that following Jesus isn’t a one-time thing. To do big stuff for God, we need to practice following Him daily, and these tips will help kids grow in faith and discipleship. Grab your kid(s) and spend 25 minutes together singing, dancing, laughing, and learning! We would love for you to also have your child(ren) memorize this week's scripture verse and motions and upload a video of them in the comment section under the video on the CLC Facebook page! Have a great week, Collide Kids! | Youth Group We will resume meetings in the spring - after Easter - when the weather is better and we can spend some time outside. | Prayer For whom are you praying today? How can we pray for you? We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray you are all doing great this week! Better than last week for most, I am sure. Winter weather clobbered all of us. God is still good! He is still in control! We are blessed!" "My word for today is kind of a two-part word. “CARE-FULL.” Definition of care is, "to feel concern or interest." Definition of full is, "as much as possible." Well...do we feel concerned for others as much as possible? Hmmmmm, something to ponder. My desire and prayer every day is that God leads me to someone I can be “care-full” with. My heart is overflowing with God’s love and I want to share it. Everyone needs to know how “care-full” God is for them. It is up to us to show them the way. I feel so blessed that God is showing me and using me to be “care-full” of everyone I meet or talk to. I pray He will use us all to be “care-full” in our workplace, grocery store, or neighborhood. Being “care-full” is an honor. When we are “care-full” with others – we are in return “care-full”. That is just how it works. God’s love is so wonderful, why wouldn’t we want to share it? I challenge us all this week to really be mindful of who we can be “care-full” with. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Let us look forward to every opportunity He puts in our path to be “care-full.” You will be surprised how “care-full” you will feel! Be blessed through your “care-full” this week!" “You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for. ~ Matthew 5:7 (MSG) | Plastic Grocery Bags ~ Not Needed Currently!
