Hope your 2018 has started well and you are all being blessed in your lives.

Kids.R.ok team have been busy with structuring of the organisation as we build ourselves to support more deserving children in and around Chennai, India. In this pursuit, we are pleased to announce two new projects in partnerships with Little Lambs and Karunakarya, as we expand our evening class project across north and south Chennai. The partnership with Little Lambs is focusing on the northern part of Chennai while with Karunakarya in southern part of greater Chennai.

As we continue our scholarship project sponsoring the young girl for her law program, along with four projects in Chennai city, Bangalore city and Urladani village in Orissa, we are able to reach out to more children with your generous support.

A big thank you on behalf of the team as you join hands with us, to make a difference in the lives of the children to aspire and be what they dream.

Located close to north Chennai’s corporation dump yard, the Vyasarpadi project is targeted at children who grow up in this poor neighbourhood.

We have selected 25 children who come from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 to learn. Saturday is when the kids can play football under the guidance of Football coach Henry, who takes special interest in training football skills to boys and girls to help them play for school, district and state level teams.

The kids living in this area have a high dropout rate with drugs being prevalent for youths. Our job is to give hope to the kids to learn and facilitate their upbringing to give them a hopeful future.

New water for a village in Orissa

Mustafa Taha joined with kids.R.ok for his first project to drill water in a village in Orissa this December. He was assisted by our Oriyan project coordinator Surendra Kumar Nayak to complete the project.

We are looking for committed donors who can support us on a monthly basis. This will greatly benefit us in long term planning taking into consideration of the future of the kids.

Kids.R.Ok team members work as volunteers, contributing to the administration and operating costs. All the funds raised from our donors go directly for the sole purpose of children’s education aid and projects aimed benefiting the children.

We at Kids.R.Ok have kept 100% donation model successfully from its inception year 2013 till date.
