It's my Birthday Week!

Being a December baby means birthday celebrations always get overshadowed by the lead up to Christmas and usually it passes without much fanfare.

Those of you with late December birthdays will no doubt have strong feelings about those 'combined' Birthday + Christmas gifts as a kid!

But this year I am turning 45, and I thought that was a milestone worth celebrating!

I'm throwing myself a party. It will be an intimate affair but I am lashing out on an extravagant cake to mark the occasion. Because you can never have too much cake!
