Happy Weekend to you, and Welcome to March! Spring is just around the corner!!!!

It's our final basketball weekend of the season, with our 5th grader in the state tournament. Blake also co-coaches Tessa's team and our oldest daughter helps out at practices and keeps stats at the games. So it's a family affair!

I shared on my Instagram story last evening a shot of the wine station I reimagined from the cabinetry/shelving in our living room. (photo on the right) We have a 20' wide wall of cabinetry with a fireplace that was all stained in honey oak, and I painted the whole wall a dark gray last fall. It made such a fun and dramatic change to our space!

A couple of My Favorite Things this week... this pan (link HERE), because, just take a look at that sour cream coffee cake below! And Tessa and I just finished up reading this book together (link HERE) - if you haven't read the book or seen the movie, I highly recommend it!

Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company!

Have a great weekend!
-Brenda

NEW: On The Blog This Week

The best coffee cakes are made with sour cream, and with a good amount of cinnamon sugar. This easy-to-make Sour Cream Coffee Cake with Cinnamon Ripple is fantastic!

Read this post and grab the recipe here.

Meghan’s Reuben Dip is like a deconstructed Reuben sandwich, all magnificently reborn into a baked ooey gooey, cheesy dip. It's a great appetizer for St. Patrick's Day!

CRUMBS: What We Made This Week

I was honored to create these mini lime cupcakes with cream cheese frosting as a meaningful, celebratory treat following a friend defending her doctoral dissertation on the subject of mental health.

To read more about this dissertation and why the color green and semi colon were used, go to my Instagram post.

And to find this recipe, go here!

I made my first skillet chocolate chip cookie this week...and it is SO GOOD. Stay tuned, I'll be sharing about it soon!

This cake has happy childhood memories written all over it. When Mom would make this Grasshopper Cake, it didn’t matter the season, it always felt like a holiday!

This Crab Bisque is creamy and rich with sweetness from the ocean, with just a touch of spicy heat.
