NBOC

Neeyz and Jay, met in 2014 and not only saw each other on the same recording sessions from time to time, but began to make music together after noticing a shared passion in production and electronic music. The group took some time to get started with their varied schedules in other genres, especially Courtney finishing his studies at the Royal Academy of music, but they worked through it and the dedication grew to where it is now. They have recently completed their debut album with NBOC (NewBorn OutCry), due for release on Ropadope Records, summer 2018. This London based duo are making cutting edge alternative Hip-Hop and combining many of the elements found in the mainstream version of the genre, but with an understanding of Jazz and other sounds from around the world. They combine their talents of production, brass instruments, singing etc, and have grown as a band that has created a very unique sound. Imagine if Oukast, The Neptunes, Anderson Paak and Parliament Funkadelic all had a baby.
