Light Up the Hill Silent Auction
Tonight is the night! The fourth annual Warrior Club Light Up the Hill Silent Auction will be held tonight, Friday, March 24, 2017, on the West Campus from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be a wide range of items including restaurant gift cards, full sets of braces, and a table with seating for 8 for the upcoming production of The Lion King, Jr. donated by CHCA's Fine Arts department. The night ends with a drawing for FREE tuition for one year (you must be present to win)! Additional tuition drawing tickets may be purchased.

AR Rewards Celebration
Students who reached their third quarter Accelerated Reader goals celebrated a wonderful, fantastic, so fun, very good day in honor of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day book today with all sorts of fun activities! The morning featured lima beans, bubble gum, and tennis shoe relays, a bubble blowing contest, a breakfast cereal treasure hunt and a snack cake snack. Million Word Reader
Congratulations to Sarah Swearingen for becoming the newest member of our Reading Warrior Million Book Club. Sarah enjoys reading because books take you on exciting adventures. Sarah's picture has been added to our Reading Wall of Fame that is located outside of our library. #ReadingWarriors

Senior Recognition
Congratulations to Conner Floyd. Connor has been awarded the University Merit Award from the University of Mobile totaling $24,000.
Preschool/Elementary Musical
All families of students in K2 – 5th grade are invited to attend a special morning of music featuring our preschool and elementary students as we celebrate “He Makes Beautiful Things.” This program will be presented on Friday, April 7th at 8:15 a.m. in the CHBC Worship Center and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. The program will conclude with a song featuring all of our preschool and elementary students together.
After the program our students will begin their “Field Day” activities (more information will be sent home regarding this soon). We also will have the Kona Ice truck on campus that day for a sweet treat as we spend the day celebrating with our Warrior family before Spring Break. Make plans to join the celebration.
Lion King Jr. Production
The CHCA Lion King Jr. Broadway dinner production is coming to CHCA. Tickets are on sale now. Performances are scheduled for the evening of Thursday, April 27th, Friday, April 28th, and three performances on Saturday, April 29th.
The Solid Rock Jazz Band will entertain you as you dine on a fabulous meal catered by Tyner's Catering, Creative Catering, or Meat Boss, depending on which show time you choose. Adult tickets are $20, student tickets are $15, or a Premiere Table with seating for eight is $240. Make plans to attend.
Our Basketball Banquet for all Basketball teams (elementary, middle and high school) will be on Monday, April 3, 2017. Spring Book Fair
Our spring book fair will be held, April 3rd-7th in the Lower School library. Many books from the Lower School summer reading lists will be available for purchase. Make plans to stop by and pick up your Spring Break and Summer reading books.
Kona Ice Partners with PTF
Our PTF is sponsoring a fundraiser with Kona Ice on Friday, April 7th. Students and parents will be given the opportunity to purchase the cool treat ($3,$4,$5 options) with proceeds benefiting school activities. Lower School will get a snack as a part of field day. Kona Ice is an optional treat for students.
Spring Break - April 10th-14
Cottage Hill Christian Academy will be closed for "Spring Break" the week of April 10th-14th. There will be Preschool (K2-K5 ONLY) Holiday Care. The EEC will run as scheduled.
Enrolling For 2017-2018
Cottage Hill Christian Academy is currently enrolling for the 2017-2018 school year. Please share your experience with friends and co-workers who may be looking for a new school for their students. Child Care Workers Needed
Part-time and substitute teachers are needed in our EEC and Extended Care Center. Morning and afternoon positions are available. Cottage Hill Christian Academy Early Education Center is looking to employ teachers/childcare workers for ages 6 weeks-24 months. Your duties will consist of (but are not limited to) caring for the daily needs such as diaper changing, feeding, nurturing, and parent interactions as per age group assigned. You will also be responsible for keeping daily reports on each individual child while maintaining a safe, clean and loving environment.
Hours of operation are Monday-Fridays from 6 am- 6 pm.
Experience in child care is preferred, however, it is not required.

Applicants are required to:
•Complete a background check (provided by CHCA)
•Have a current Food Handlers Card
•CPR training a plus
