Hey y’all! It’s me, Brenda from Meal Planning Magic. You’re receiving this email newsletter because you signed up--maybe a while ago--to receive an extra weekly email where I share a little bit about meal planning, seasonal content I think you might enjoy and a little bit more about me.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm changing things up and sending this email at 12:00 pm CST now for a little Midweek Meal Planning Magic. So here you go!

I missed a couple of weeks here because life just got in the way. Among activities and school events for my kids, working part time at my local YMCA and my obsession with cookie making lately (check it out on my Instagram feed here or here), this newsletter got away from me.

Read on to find some weekly inspiration!

On The Blog - Homemade Peppermint Mocha Coffee (or Cocoa!) Creamer

This week I shared a recipe for Homemade Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer. Y'all, this is so, so easy you'll want to make up a batch right away. It's make ahead and you can even freeze it! A reader in the Meal Planning Magic Community Table Facebook group said she likes to use coffee creamers in her hot cocoa since she doesn't drink coffee. What a great idea!

I have been enjoying my seasonal lattes without spending lots of money too--win!

Meal Planning Tips & Tricks

This time of year means lots of holiday parties and get togethers. I love hosting a potluck party where everyone brings a dish to share. It saves me a bit of stress (and money!) getting everything ready and guests usually like bringing something to contribute. In this post, My Favorite Tips for Potuluck Party Success, I share my best practices learned from many, many years of hosting potluck parties! Check it outhere.

Favorite Things

It's not too late to pick up or add a few more items from your holiday wish list. My Kitchen Gift Guide and Wishlist has many kitchen tools and items that I use the most and can't live without. There are items in all price points so check it out and maybe you can cross some items off your shopping lists! You can check out the list here.

What I'm Reading

The book, Christmas Jars, is a heartwarming story for this time of year. I like to read it whenever I get the chance as it's a simple reminder of the many ways we can help others, even in small ways, throughout the year. It's a book I first read years ago and its timeless story never disappoints. It's a relatively quick read too so I hope you'll check it out. What are you reading these days? I'm always looking for suggestions so send me a quick email to let me know!
