All elementary students remaining on campus after dismissal and not participating in a school sponsored activity at 3:00 p.m. must be registered in and attend the K4 - 5th Grade Extended Care program. All elementary students attending Extended Care must have a current Extended Care Enrollment and Emergency Information form completed before attending Extended Care. | Parking Pass for HS Students As we gear up for the upcoming school year, we are implementing new measures to further ensure the safety and security of our campus. One important step is to issue parking passes for all students who will be driving to campus. We understand the importance of providing a secure environment for our entire school community. By issuing parking passes, we can better monitor campus activity and ensure the safety of all our students, faculty, and staff. These parking passes are free of charge. To streamline the process and avoid any inconvenience during the busy back-to-school period, we have created a simple Google Form for you to submit your parking pass request. This form will help us organize and allocate parking spaces efficiently. Once our permits are in, we will reach out to let you know that they are available. Your cooperation in completing this form is crucial to enhance the overall safety and security of our campus. The parking pass will be valid for the entire academic year. Thank you for your understanding and support in making our school a secure and welcoming environment for all. We are looking forward to another great year together! If you are a student driver, please take a moment to fill out the form linked below by July 29th: | Click to Download | | TKA Visitor Policy In order to help maintain a safe and instructionally based learning environment for our students, all visitors for middle and high school must enter through the front door of the Anderson Building and sign in in the middle/high school office in order to receive a visitor's pass. All visitors for elementary must enter the front door of the Ogle Building in order to receive a visitor's pass. This pass should be visible at all times so that TKA faculty and staff know that you have checked in at the office. Our doors are open to visitors, but please call ahead of time to schedule conferences with your child’s teachers. This will prevent interruptions to instruction and the loss of the valuable learning time of our students. Adults will not be allowed to wander the halls of the building or hold conferences with teachers during instructional times. TKA family lunch visitors should follow the above procedure. Lunch tickets are $5 each. Students who are not enrolled at TKA are not permitted to visit TKA students during the school day, which includes lunch. This policy has been developed in order to help maintain a safe and instruction focused environment at school each day. Any visitor who does not meet these expectations may be asked to leave school grounds. | | |
