Prayer

For whom are you praying today?
How can we pray for you?

We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week!

Encouragement

Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement.

"This is the day the Lord has made – I will REJOICE! I am so thankful for every blessing God shows me every day. He showers His love on us and our cups are full and overflowing. I am so humbled to be able to share what God lays on my heart every week. This is truly an encouragement to me as well. The words I type are exactly what I need to hear. I pray you are all getting some little nugget each week to carry with you."

"My Word for this week is “SECRET.” As I began to think about it, my mind was going so many different directions – here goes….. “Secret” can be something you want to keep from others. Maybe good or bad. Sometimes our emotions can keep us “secret” or hidden from others. My thought was that if we happen to see or notice one of our friends or family that maybe is keeping themselves “secret” or alone – let’s reach out to them. You or I may be just the one that helps them through their day. Just a note, text, card, or phone call. We all go through our “secret” times for sure. Let someone know they are in your thoughts and prayers. While we are in our “secret” times – God’s presence is always there. His love will overflow into us in the “secret” place, and we will share His love with others. The Holy Spirit will guide, teach, and minister to us in our “secret” place. Keep your hearts and minds open to reaching out to those in need. Let the Holy Spirit guide us in all our ways. Keep in tune! I pray you find your way in your “secret” place with God."

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
~ Psalm 91:1-2 (NKJV)

News of the Week

Last Friday, we celebrated Cameron with a Nerf Day and a pizza lunch...of course with Miss Jill's brownies too! Even though we are all sad to say goodbye to Cam, we had a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped Cam's last day be full of fun. We look forward to his return next spring and wish him a fantastic school year.

The rain this week, and the newly paved parking lot, kept us inside quite a bit this week. We had plenty to do with peach jam making, cleaning, and organizing. Even though everyone pitched in on Friday to clean up all the Nerf projectiles, we still spent time this week finding more. We think our church mice also like to play with them!

We did have some time outside, releasing butterflies, finding new creature friends, prepping and harvesting for CSA. Everyone is outside right now harvesting and enjoying these moments of no rain!

~~~~~~~
For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.
.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
