Please come out and support Goodness Grows from 2:00-5:00 this Saturday. Bring your family and friends to enjoy fun for all ages. Free wagon rides, face painting, games, and special guests! Meet the Phantoms Hockey mascot (here for an hour...mascots and hot weather do not equal long visits!), a therapy bunny, and a rescue dog! Learn about two great North Lima rescue organizations. Do a craft with Miss Peg from the Green Team, from 1:30-4:00. Watch a strolling magic show, from 3:00-4:00. Get a free sample of Funky Punky Cotton Candy, while supplies last. Try your hand at the Phantoms slap shot and score a goal. Make a seed ball to take home and plant. Help us raise money for our farming and special needs programs by purchasing tickets ($1 each) for hot dogs, chips, lemonade, popcorn, and the very tasty Bake Walk! Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam available, and hanging baskets will be on sale for only $10. Don't miss out! | Bake Walk Donations Needed Thank you to everyone who is bringing a donation! If you didn't sign up and you want to donate anyway - thank you! All donations will be appreciated and put to good use. The more items we have, the more prizes people can win!! Remember, any sweet (homemade or store bought) you think would make a good prize can be used in a Bake Walk. Please have all donations here by 2pm on Saturday. | Bible Studies Sunday Morning: The study of Matthew has finished. We will take a break for a few weeks and then begin a new book. Info will be posted soon. Wednesday Morning: Ladies Study - Dwelling in God's Peace from the Jesus Calling Bible Study Series by Sarah Young; 9am. You are welcome to join in a study at any time! | Garden News The Garden is on summer break but there are activity pages on the table by the Sanctuary doors. Nursery is available for little ones through three years old. They worked hard in our back field, helping to beat back the never-ending weeds. Salem Farmer's Market ~ We will be there some Thursdays, from 3:30-6:30 CSA Pick-Up ~ Thursdays, 4-7pm Youngstown Flea ~ Come experience the Flea! July 14/Aug 18/Sept 8/Oct 13 from 10:00 - 4:00 (GG will not be there in July.) This week's goodies will include some beautiful leaf lettuce, grown in one of our round garden beds out back, as well as pesto made fresh from our own basil, and corn from McMaster Farms! Collection will continue right up until our October 13th Giveaway Day! | St. Vincent de Paul Society August 4, 2018 from 12:00-3:00pm, the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Youngstown is hosting their first Back to School Sock and Underwear Distribution. Donations are needed of new, unopened socks and underwear of all sizes. Students in grades K-12 will be reached by this program. Monetary donations can also be mailed to the Society. | For I was hungry and you gave me food;
