Friend
Ok, I know it is a morbid heading but in my profession, I hear so many reason for why folks do not take care of themselves. This one gets to me. " I am going to die anyway." Yes Yes Yes. We are all going to die, death is the great equalizer. We cannot change that. But let’s think about this for a minute!!: Since death is a surety, but an unknown date and time, don’t you think a better choice would be to focus on the miracle you are, and invest your time and energy into living well???. You can start by eating healthy unprocessed food, and devoting time to exercise and self-care. There are no downsides to that choice. On the other hand, there is a high price to be paid for not taking care of your health.
In most cases the impact is not immediate, or the warning signs are ignored. Additionally, some of medication available now can make you live ill, miserable, half alive, for a long time. Fooling you into an existence that your illness is getting better while it is only masking the symptoms. Not the way to go. A new year is around the corner, I implore you to take stock and make some changes. If you need help reach out.
