Best Quarantine Ever

IMG 5909

As I sit here having a homemade dinner with my boys ("Dad's Awesome Burgers") while playing our 3rd board game of the night, my thoughts drift to all the families I’ve had the opportunity to share experiences with during our sessions. I wonder if they are all gathered at home around meals and playing games as mine are now.

It is not to say I’m ignorant to the great many losses experienced during this time. Memorializing family/friend/coworkers who have fought/loss their Covid battles or possibly financial hardships sustained during this time are not to be understated. However, I would feel remiss if I didn’t at least offer the opportunity to have this time of family and togetherness be remembered.

Please feel free to reach out if you would like a session near or far while families gather without sports or other schedule demands placed on your life. I, of course, will be demonstrating safe portrait sessions and viewings through protective equipment and distance which will not impact your expectations you have for a true Ebert photography experience. You don't need to see my (masked)mouth to know that I'm smiling and loving every moment I'm sharing with you!

I have included a list of some of the games I have been playing with my boys with a photo and would love to hear about yours as well. Even if a session is not part of your current needs, I’d love to hear how you’re doing and what you're doing to make the most of this time.
Be safe, be well and live in this moment for beauty can be found even in the most difficult times if you look for it.

JSYK, My boys are 14 and 15 years old. One is silly and one is rather formal and just plain smart, so agreeing on a game to play together must be done strategically, and perhaps with bribes! It always ends up fun though!
