Students of all ages! Bring your backpacks to church on Sunday, August 18 and the pastor will say a prayer of blessing over them for the start of the new school year. This will take place at 9:30 and 11:00 services. | Rally Sunday
In just three short weeks, we kick off the new year with our annual outdoor worship at 10:00 am, followed by a catered picnic. We will have games, delicious food, and even a petting zoo! We also kick off our Fall preaching series: Living Our Baptism. This is an excellent event to invite friends and neighbors to come and see what St. Mark is all about. As you leave church this Sunday morning, pick up a bar of soap to give to your neighbors, and welcome them to discover the gifts of baptism with us! | We are excited to announce a new Church Directory. Would you like to be a part of the St. Mark prayer chain? Prayer requests come into the church office weekly. As we receive prayer requests we would send out an e-mail and ask that you pray daily for the persons mentioned in the requests. All requests are to remain confidential. Come join our team of Sunday School teachers! We’re starting a new year and a new program, and together we’ll be exploring new ways to live our faith and do God’s work in the world. No previous teaching experience is required, and team teaching means you’ll spend about two Sundays each month in the classroom. Teachers work together in pairs to lead prepared lessons based on each week’s scripture. Leader guides, background information on the scripture being studied, and student materials are all provided. The Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will resume on September 18th. We meet in the conference room in the Common Grounds area from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. This fall we will begin our year with a study on Angels: Who They Are and How They Help! We will follow that with an overview of Mormonism- their history, practices, and beliefs. All are welcome to join us. Our Bible study is based on Scripture, discussion, and fellowship! With the current HIPAA Laws, the church is not informed when you're hospitalized. Please have a friend or family member notify the church directly if you are a loved one is hospitalized. Thank you. | After carefully considering many options, the Council approved a bid to replace the Sanctuary air conditioner. Due to manufacturing and scheduling, it will be installed later this fall. Yoga can help build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination, as well as relieve stress and anxiety, and improve mindfulness.
