Deadline for $5000 Emerging Storytellers Grant

Filmmakers 24 and under, you have TEN DAYS to submit to the Scout Film Festival Emerging Storytellers Grant through Visura.co or FilmFreeway.

November 16 is the final deadline to apply for $5000 of cash and in-kind support for the completion of a new short film project or work in progress in one of two separate age categories; 18 and under or 19 to 24.

In a recent Deadline I Hollywood exclusive, we announced a new partnership with Jurassic World's Writer and Director, Colin Trevorrow as Sponsor of the two Scout Film Festival short film grants.

Mr. Trevorrow is funding a $10,000 grant split between the 18 and under and 19 to 24 age categories, and will join the panel of Judges to select the winner. Mr. Trevorrow’s sponsorship represents his commitment to championing the next generation of storytellers and provides an unparalleled opportunity for young artists to have their work reviewed by one of the industry’s leading filmmakers.

The winner will be announced and prize distributed at Scout Film Festival January 4-6, 2019. Tickets are on sale now through Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.
