Hello Dear Readers,
I'm alive!!! And it's great to be back! I spent 2018 recovering from major surgery. Now I'm fighting fit and busier than ever in the writing cave, with several ongoing projects which I'm thrilled to share with you. Enjoy!

Deadly-Kin-Alec-Halsey-Mystery-Book-4

Alec is back, in this fourth instalment in the Alec Halsey Mysteries.
Summer, 1764. Alec and Selina anxiously await the birth of their first child at their estate in Kent. It should be a time of family celebration, but the death of a young poacher has Alec investigating murder. And when renovations to his sprawling manor unearth a secret burial chamber, a shocking family secret comes to light. Everything Alec thought he knew about his birth is again called into question, and with it the special bond with his irascible uncle Plantagenet.

Lucinda Out and About in London, Edinburgh, New York, & LaLa Land

I escaped the writing cave earlier this year and spent five weeks overseas researching for the next couple of books.
London highlights included Hogarth's house in Chiswick, the Chelsea Physic Garden, a day out at Syon House, Greenwich Maritime Museum, Sir John Soane's Museum, Gerrard Street where Lisa Crisp lived with the Warner family, and Lord Henri-Antoine's mansion in Park Street, as well as a wonderful reader-fan afternoon tea at The Wallace Collection, my favorite museum on the planet!

I then had a week in Edinburgh, exploring the Old Town, the National Museum of Scotland, taking walking tours, and visiting one of my favorite places, the Writers' Museum.

While in New York, I caught up with my book cover design team Gene Mollica Studio, where I was interviewed about my new Roxton Family Saga covers. I also toured Audible's impressive campus in Newark (where I was also interviewed—stay tuned!). And visited various museums, and spent an afternoon at my favorite NYC museum, The Frick Collection.

Brant and Wyndham make a fab duo!

Last but not least, while in Los Angeles I caught up with my fabulous narrator Alex Wyndham. We had a wonderful day at Soho House on Sunset Blvd, which has fab views overlooking downtown.
It was a fantastic five weeks, and I returned home inspired, with loads of ideas for new books! Thank you to everyone who made me so welcome. I can't wait to see you all again soon! xo
