It's Mother's Day on Sunday. For some reason, Mother's Day always sneaks up on me - perhaps it's because it's the one celebration in the year that I'm not responsible for, either way, I really should have shared this blog post and images with you last week! I've added in 5 new images to the blog post that you can use to celebrate Mother's Day with your clients. The original images were not very diverse so I've managed to find a few new ones.
Also this week another fantastic guest post from Dr Hubert Hiemstra - Dear Anonymous vet, Re your question: If not this... then what? Actually, in his post the quote is “If not this, then what the fuck?!?!?!?!” ...which definitely has much more impact, but I didn't want to get my blog post banned. You should read it anyway...
And finally, if you haven't already watched it, heard about it, or seen reference to it on social media... on Wednesday night there was a report on Channel 10's The Project: The Devastating Mental Health Toll On Our Veterinarians. It featured the story behind Flynn's Walk - a charity set up in the memory of Dr Flynn Hargreaves - and also included Dr Nadine Hamilton (Love Your Pet Love Your Vet).

It's also a great story to share with your clients and community to help educate them about some of the causes of mental health issues within the veterinary industry - as Waleed Aly said: "I've never thought about that in my life. It's incredible."
