Attendance Attendance Attendance...Practice Practice Practice!
The season is winding down, and so is school, and all other activities that families are involved in! We know it's a super busy time of year, and we ask that everyone try to keep dance on the list of important things to do each week! Attendance in all classes each and every week allows your dancers to continue training, to learn their Recital choreography well, and to build confidence in their knowledge and execution of movement for a successful Recital performance. Practicing at home helps tremendously as well! The Teachers will be sending videos through Dropbox once the dances have been completed. PLEASE check your email often so you can download these videos and let your dancer use them to practice with at home!
Recital Costume Fees & Required Items
Recital Costume Fees have been posted in the studio lobby and are NOW PAST DUE.
Students are required to purchase specific shoes & tights to complete their Recital costume and this information has been emailed to you! PLEASE make sure you have all required items ordered/purchased and in your possession for Picture Day on Saturday May 21st.
A list of costume requirements for Levels III, IV & V's along with boys' costume information has been posted in the studio lobby and emailed to you.
FINALE
Submissions Due May 22nd
(Please Read below! We would love to have all of you participate!)
Since we will not be able to have our "normal" Finale for this season, we have put together a fun project to accomplish and we need your help and creativity! NHPA II would like to organize a video "Finale" production (like last season) that will be included on our digital download. We definitely want all dancers to be a part of the Finale, but we also want to encourage all of the family to participate. The more of us that get involved, the better this production will be. We are talking about parents, siblings, grandparents, furry friends, etc.
The Teachers will talk about this project with your dancers in class.
The song for our Finale will be "Holiday" (by Madonna).
For this project we would like to present road trip jams or lip-sync fun in the car. You can show off your best move, hit a "dab", etc. We need 2 items from you for this Finale project. A short road trip video clip & a family vacation photo. There is no time limit on your video submission. You can also submit multiple videos too. Just pick any section of the music in the song "Holiday" (by Madonna) & let the creative vibes go free!! The Teachers will handle all the editing. We encourage everyone to submit both a video & photo. If you would be interested in sending only a family vacation photo, you may choose this option.
We want ALL NHPA II dancers to be a part of this production and strongly encourage the family to join in the fun as well.
We don't want this to be difficult or stressful, but just true fun! We encourage you to explore some ideas as a family and get those creative minds working together.
In order to have time to edit all the video submissions of our NHPA II family, we ask that you submit your road trip videos or vacation photos by Sunday May 22nd!
We will email you the specifics on "How To" video and submit your videos or photos. Along with a few photo examples. Please watch your emails and reach out if you have any questions at all.

May 21: Recital Class Pictures @ NHPA II
All students will take full Recital class pictures at NHPA II on Saturday May 21st. The Picture Schedule has been posted in the studio lobby as well as on our website or Click Here
Students may sign up for individual photos on the Schedule posted in the studio lobby. PLEASE make sure you have all Required shoes, tights & any additional required items by Picture Day.
*PLEASE let your Teachers know if your dancer will not be at Picture Day.
May 31: Recital Tickets go on SALE!
All NHPA II Recitals are ticketed events and reserved seating. Tickets for the 2022 Recital shows are $7 each and will go on sale Tuesday, May 31st @ 5pm in the studio office.
*If you're attending both shows, you need to purchase tickets for both shows.
Please note that we have changed theatres. We will be holding our Annual Spring Recital at C.E. King H.S. Performing Arts Theatre. Separation of Shows
June 6: Early Fall Registration
All returning students are able to register early to reserve their spot for next season. We highly recommend registering early to guarantee your dancer's placement before classes fill up.
June 11: Recital Dress Rehearsals (2 shows) @ NHPA II
Each Recital show will have a full Dress Rehearsal at NHPA II on Saturday June 11.

June 18: Recital Performances!
NHPA II's 17th Annual Recital performances will be held in 2 shows at C.E. King H.S.
Show 1 @ 1:00pm
Show 2 @ 4:00pm
