Message from the CEO

As it is still difficult to travel abroad, let’s continue the exploration of our amazing Cambodia. This month, we at Thalias Hospitality have decided to take you to the well-known town of Siem Reap. While you may know it as the town of Angkor temples, Siem Reap has much more to offer. Whether it is restaurants, museums or outdoors activities, it has something for everyone, from couples to families and groups of friends.

I am also taking this opportunity to thank the Royal Government of Cambodia who extended until the end of the year their support to the tourism sector, in particular by the monthly $40 state benefit for all employees working in tourism, and the exemption of all kinds of monthly taxes, including the payment of patent tax, tax on commercial name, postponement of the full audit for 2020 by the General Department of Taxation, and suspension of seniority payment. Many thanks also to the Cambodia Tourism Federation and its Chairman Luu Meng for unifying all the voices of our industry and for succeeding in getting a positive answer to his request letter that you can read here.

Yours sincerely,

Arnaud DARC
CEO and Chairman Thalias Hospitality Group
