This has been an extra busy week. With so many shows in the fall, our crew has been making jam like crazy. They also went apple picking today at Huffman Fruit Farm and then jumped in to harvesting here for today's CSA. Yesterday, when not making jam, they baked chocolate chip cookies for all the volunteers who came to help last night in the warehouse. The cookies were a delicious reward for all the sorting and organizing!

The classrooms have been extremely helpful as we worked on a variety of outside tasks this week. Cleaning up around trees and the firepit, watering, weeding, taking care of mushroom logs, hauling items to the warehouse...the list goes on. We are lucky to have so many helping hands!

We had a visit from B.J. Lisko from Youngstown Studio. They have an online show called "Behind the Scenes" that features local organizations, businesses, and events. He came out to shoot video all over the property, inside, outside, and in the warehouse. Rachel, Bradly, and Keegan even took him on a walk in the woods. Next week, Jen will head to their studio to talk about GG and what we do, as well as our big fundraiser and the Giveaway!

Last Saturday, Jill and Jen spent the morning at the Canfield Market on the Green. Kitty and Sue took the afternoon shift. It was a perfect fall day and we were happy to talk to a lot of folks about GG and to sell a bunch of jam! This Saturday, Kitty, Jill, and Dustin will be in Columbiana at Firestone Farms for the Beer Fest from 4-8pm. They will have Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam to sample and to purchase and plenty of other fabulous vendors will be set up for this event. Make sure to stop at their table and say hi if you are there!

Jungle Jam & Juicy Jam

Available at Reach for the STARS in Salem, in Columbiana at Living Luxe Designs, and here at GG.

Jungle Jam: - $7 - Blueberry Jalapeno, Strawberry Jalapeno, Hot,

Handmade Wine Cork Cat Toys ~ designed by our clients, cost - $1

Raising Funds for GG

Save the date - October 28 from 6-9pm - and join us at ill will for a fun fall evening as we raise money to pay our clients for all the work they do here in North Lima!

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

you were doing it to me.
