And just like that another school year comes to an end! We had many end of the year celebrations with the children at the JAM Day Center and also sent teams out to many orphanages. In our country, the last school bell of the year rings on May 31st and there is a celebration.

At the end of each school year, our hearts are a little grieved as we think about the children that are ages 15 to 19 that leave the orphanages. These young people embark on an adventure that they have never really prepared for. The last several years our teams have made a concerted effort to teach these older children life skills. However, a few trainings does not compare to the 15 to 18 years of teaching and guidance that most children receive from their parents before leaving home. Please pray with us for these graduates as they step out on their own to go to trade schools. Pray also that they connections and relationships we have built with them would stay strong and that they would remain in contact with us so that we can continue to mentor them.

It is with great joy that we share with you that God has once again opened the door to the Lost Boys orphanage. Many of you have supported the ministry to these boys for years. For a long time, we have been denied the opportunity to visit. However, recently God once again opened the door. We are not posting pictures as it is not allowed, but we wanted to share that we are finding away to serve these boys that have many special needs.

We also continue to visit the girls in the Krasnosyolka orphanage several times a month. Sharing the love of Christ with them and doing a variety of activities that they love to do.

Our center has also opened it's doors to a newly formed group that supports families and children that are affected with Autism. In our country, there is very little training and support and we are happy to help them as we can. A team of volunteers with training in the field have come to spend time with these children and their families.

Praise God for these opportunities.

One of the greatest gifts God has given to our ministry is a piece of property. It allows us to serve many children and families. At the end of May, we had a day of Family Games! Children from troubled homes came and brought their parents, grandparents, and other care takers and we had a fun day playing all sorts of games. The day ended with prizes and a tasty lunch.

The whole month of May we have been building and building! Praise God for all the volunteers that have given their time and energy to help make the camp a beautiful facility. We are most excited that we now have a place to eat and a place for meetings that is sure to be dry during any rain storms! Praise God.

Camp LELA began this week and we are happy to have 67 boys that came for the first camp. This all boys camp is a great time to teach boys how to be men. Lots of high activity, adventure, and "guy" stuff. Please pray that their hearts would be open to the Lord and His love.
