eNews February 2019 Header v3

Hi Member,

I hope everyone has a few spare minutes to read our Guest Post: AniPal - leading by example to inspire the veterinary & animal industries. It really is inspiring to see what Steph has achieved with her company, AniPal. I have a feeling there's a lot more to come in the future and it would be great if the Vetanswers Community could be a part of that.

Also this week we welcome Equine Veterinary Dental Services (EVDS) to our Community as a Premium Member. No matter what your experience or skill level, EVDS has a Workshop to improve your equine dental skills. And we're looking forward to sharing some of the EVDS expertise and knowledge with our Community over the coming months.

We've also highlighted an interesting post on how to improve your planning skills. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have compiled a list of goals at the beginning of the year that could probably do with a bit of help to get moving forward - it is nearing the end of February after all!

Our aim is to help you - save time, connect & discover!

Enjoy your reading :)

How good are your planning skills?

Plan to succeed: Eight steps to improve your planning skills

By Eve Ash (Smart Company)

As we move into the last week of February, it's probably a good time to consider how all those projects are going that you planned on starting at the beginning of the year.

We all know that planning is essential, and there are some great software options available but you need to get the basics of planning right first:

1. Clarify what you are trying to achieve
2. Determine when this needs to be achieved
3. Establish who needs to be involved
4. Locate where this is all taking place
5. Decide how the above will be prioritised and coordinated
6. Why are you going about your plans this way?
7. Will your plans adapt to changed circumstances quickly?
8. Consider which parts of the plan worked and why

Now you can get moving with all those great 2019 plans!
