Summer is just zipping by! I hope you are getting a chance to get some sewing in between spending some time outdoors! I'm excited to show you my new pattern for the Tortoise Bag.

This is an intermediate-level sewing pattern in a bowling bag style, with a unique curved top zip closure. Three different sizes are available in this pattern. The zipper is easier than it looks and there is no hand-sewing on this bag required - everything goes together by machine.

Cindy of Raspberry Sunshine made this beautiful gray version paired with linen fabrics for the straps and piping. The quilting on her bag really makes it shine!

Also I have some new cork fabric colors now available in my pattern shop! Give your bags that bit of extra special with a small bit of cork accents.

Here are some bags that Sheri of Munkee Made whipped out using a bit of cork fabric on the sides of the bag. This is the 'Beguiling Bag' from my book, Windy City Bags. Just to show that a little goes a long way!
