Emily Rice is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Science & Physics at CUNY Staten Island, and resident research associate in the Dept. of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.
In addition to research and teaching, Professor Rice is committed to outreach and communicating science to the public. She gives public lectures at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History and at other venues throughout the greater NYC area...nerd!
