I really take in the parts that speak to me and make me think, and I ignore the stuff that I don't really agree with. Especially the stuff that heaps on the Mom Guilt.
After writing today's post, I'm really thinking about doing a series of parenting book reviews. I enjoyed writing this one and I think it could be a good resource.
Today I did a book review on "Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids" by Dr. Laura Markham.
Not only do I share the information that I loved, but also the parts I didn't like so much. I really dislike purchasing a book and then upon reading it I discover that I don't like it at all. I don't want that to happen to you, so I tried to give you a well-rounded review.
