Custom framing we did for Interval House!

Interval House helps women in abusive situations get back on their feet by offering emergency shelter and community-based services for them and their children.

Counsellors work with children on collages, paintings, sculptures, and stories about their future homes.

We framed the children's artwork, seen here, which was then presented to one of their generous supporters.

Take a look at this recent shadowbox custom framing project!

S. Warren brought in this ceremonial artifact worn by her great-grandfather and her great-great-grandfather. It is a Highland Scot hunting/ceremonial dirk and was made in Scotland in the late 1700s or early 1800s. The wood and etched silver sheath contain a sword, a fork, and a carving knife: a kill 'em and eat 'em picnic set, if you will.

The inset stones are cairngorms, mined in the Scottish highlands. We custom-made a shadowbox for Ms. Warren so she can admire the dagger when she likes – and use it for a picnic if she wishes!

We hope to see you soon!
