Dear friend,

What keeps us happy and healthy as we go through life? If you think it's fame and money, you're not alone – but, according to psychiatrist Robert Waldinger, you're mistaken. In this TED talk, Waldinger shares the results of a 75-year Harvard study which surfaced three important lessons on building a fulfilling, long life. It may not surprise you to hear that the single biggest factor in a happy and health life are "high-quality, meaningful relationships with other people."

Right now, many of associations and clubs are facing unprecedented challenges. Events are being suspended and cancelled due to social distancing demands. Some jurisdictions have made it illegal to gather in groups of any size. The lifeblood of many organizations are face-to-face events which build those "high-quality, meaningful relationship" we all need to be happy and healthy.

Every organization must figure out how to adapt and reinvent how they continue to deliver value and connect with members. To be sure, if your organization goes too long without direct contact, the relationships may fray and your organization may face demise. Now is not the time, though, to "go silent" to your membership base. Your members need to continue to build relationships to get them through this tough and difficult time.

Here are some excellent ideas for your organization from our partner Wild Apricot: How to Manage Your Organization Virtually.

And some of our most-valued tools and services are making it easy to try the fully-enabled versions of their software for free or on a limited time basis:

▪ And many more apps to help remote teams
