Dear Laurel Community,
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. I am truly thankful for a wonderful Harvest Night Gala and the difference your support has made for the students and our school. Your commitment is the key to our success together.
Our next “Coffee Talk” is prior to our next Community Morning Meeting on Tuesday, December 6th with the topic of Laurel Volunteerism. We will discuss parent volunteer opportunities within our school! Please stop by my office anytime between 8 am and 9 am for some coffee and discussion if you are interested to help!
I look forward to seeing you during our Morning Meeting or at the upcoming Art and Literature Faire on Wednesday, December 21st from 5 pm – 7 pm!

Celebrating our National Parks on their Centennial Year! This free community event showcases student artwork that explores the beauty of our National Parks. We will have a bake sale, raffles and a book signing by local Cape Cod author Martha Zschock! Author of "Journey Around Our National Parks"

A Special Thank you to Hyannis Honda and Orleans Auto Center for sponsoring this wonderful event and The Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club for hosting! Our Annual Harvest Night Gala was a great success!
We would like to thank everyone involved for their generosity to The Laurel School's Annual Fund. Our Annual Fund provides many local families financial aid assistance so their children are able to experience all the enriching programs Laurel has to offer. With your donations and sponsorship, we can make a difference for many children.
We are grateful and appreciative of all your generosity!

The Menu Window will be open until December 4th for this ordering cycle and you can pre-order for up to two weeks. Please let the front office know if you have any questions. ▪ Cold Weather Clothing – Now that it is December the colder weather will start to be upon us. Please send your child into school with warm coat, hat, mittens and boots if necessary! ▪ Storm Cancellations - When we do cancel school here at Laurel we DO NOT follow the Nauset Regional School District. We will have cancellations posted on CBS Channel 4 WBZ, Fox 25, Channel 7 NBC and Channel 56 CW. By 7am. It will read The Laurel School. If possible we will email families the night before and post cancellations on our school website under Events & Calendar.
