CG NEWS & EVENTS

Bible Studies

Sunday Morning: This class is on hiatus, as we have finished the book of Ecclesiastes. Planning has begun for the next class, which will be announced soon.

Wednesday Morning: Ladies Study - 9am - The book of Job (Meets some weeks at church and some at Jen Shannon's.)

You are welcome to join in studies at any time!

Garden & Nursery News

The Garden will be led by Frank Snyder this Sunday. His lesson will focus on the fact that, no matter what the situation, God understands. As always, activity pages will be on the table by the Sanctuary doors for kids who remain in Worship.

Nursery kids (age 3 & younger) are invited to the Nursery for a Bible story time. Would YOU like to spend some time in the Nursery and get some quality time with our youngest churchgoers? Volunteers needed and greatly appreciated! Talk to Jen Lynch!

Youth Group

Our field trip to see The Music Man was a success! We also had lots of fun eating lunch together and playing a new board game. Time spent with these kids is always worth it! This week we are back to a normal schedule. Hope to see everyone from 6-7:30pm on Sunday!
Snack this week provided by: Audrey & Nathan Shannon.

Are You Missing...

Pink sunglasses, apple baskets, a nice wooden crate, and more all are here waiting for their owners to claim them. If you donated items to decorate for FBS, they are under the library tables near the front doors. (And, thank you for helping our Abundance Orchard come to life!) If you have been missing your sparkly pink shades every time you head outside, they are at the front desk.

Happenings Here

It was jam making time over the last several days, as we get ready for all the shows to come. Wednesday was our final autumn day with Mohawk, and they worked as hard as ever! We also accomplished much outside this week, getting things ready for winter, including trying out salt water as our new weed killer. As you can see from the picture, Keegan had a great time wearing the backpack and spraying everything! (Who ya gonna call?) If you would like to join in on our jam making, winterizing, and more - you are always welcome! Stop in and spend time with us most any day of the week.

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40

What can YOU do?
