What questions should you ask a log home provider?: You may have seen this as the title of an article in a log home magazine. I have never agreed with their list of questions. After 41 years in the industry, I know what questions I would ask! Would you like to read them? They were in the March issue.

Home Sweet Home.

Questions a log home producer is going to ask YOU!: To help you in the process to your new log or timber frame home, there are some questions you will be asked by any knowledgeable log home company. This is necessary for them to be able to guide you through the process. (We are not just nosy!). Some basic questions are given in the April Oak Leaf that can get you started in the right direction and save you some time.

What size of home should you build?: The June Oak Leaf helps you make that decision. Or at least gives you some things to think about that you may have not considered.

Answer to Trivia Question: Chionophobia is the persistent fear of snow, especially becoming trapped by snow. The term is derived from the Greek words chion and phobos, meaning “snow” and “fear,” respectively. If you suffer from Chionophobia you must HATE winter!

Quote of the Month: "Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is time for home." - Edith Sitwell
