Sermon: Faithful: Little, Much, All

Join us this Sunday, November 8, as we continue our new sermon series, “Faithful”. We will discover more and more, the grace of giving and the hope of the church. What does it mean to give and what does it mean to be the church - faithfully?

Stewardship Sunday

Next Sunday, November 15, we will celebrate the mission and ministry of SUMC. we will share in Holy Communion together and as we do you will be invited to place your Faithful Card at the altar as you receive communion. We will then ask God’s blessings upon our faithful commitments to the church and to God for 2016. Please keep in mind, your Faithful Card remains confidential and can be changed at any time.

Wednesday, November 11th

SUMC is planning a second trip back to La Senda in Guatamala April 3-9, 2016. The team is currently being formed. If you missed last week's informational meeting and you're interested in going, please see Pastor Erik, or you may pick up an informational packet on the bulletin board in the fellowship all or click here.

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot and is due by next Sunday, November 15th.

The parade is December 5th – and we will start the build Saturday morning November 21st (that’s the Saturday before Thanksgiving) and wrap it up the following Saturday. We will need help to make this happen. Please pencil in the dates on your calendar and be watching for more information over the next two weeks.

SUMC is now using Realm for our membership and giving. You can sign in using this LINK and see your giving record anytime. You can update your personal information as changes occur. By providing your email address, you will receive your quarterly and end of year giving statements electronically.

Another great feature is electronic giving. It is easy to sign up and set up your giving out of your checking account, for regular contributions or special one-time gifts. Select the Giving tab on your profile and then hit the +Give button.

Also on the Giving tab is an option for you to set up your 2016 Pledge using the +Pledge button.

On Sunday, November 22nd, please bring pajamas for the children of A Brighter Day. The 52 children being served are from Senoia and the surrounding area. The sizes are infant through size 14 and one girl 2x. New socks and underwear are also needed. Boxes will be available in the Narthex and the Welcome Center.

Please complete the reservation card in the pew back and put it in the offering plate if you plan on attending or contact the church office by 10am Tuesday at 770-599-3245 or office@senoiaumc.org. They need to know how many meals to prepare.
If you have a standing reservation we expect you unless you cancel.
