October 2017 Update

Six months until race day!!!! We are so excited about all that is planned so far and we know you all are going to have a great time in our inaugural event.

We are in the final stages of creating our Guidebook that has rules, tips, directions, maps, checklists and so much more. This resource will help you plan and be prepared for a fun event. The Guidebook will be shared next month!

Race Course news! Announcing Leg #8 - Tali-Ho!
At 3.53 miles, this is the shortest leg on the course but don't let that fool you. The last 2.5 miles are uphill to the Transition area at Talisman Camps. This leg will finish up your time spent in North Carolina as the camp is located at the NC/SC border.

Quest Brewing Company
Founded in Greenville in 2012, Quest produces unique, quality beers using ethical and environmentally friendly standards while hand-crafting each products.

Hubba Hubba Smokehouse
Located in Flat Rock, NC, Hubba Hubba is an authentic wood-fired smokehouse honoring the Carolina craft and tradition of low and slow BBQ.

Our favorites:
Pulled pork plate with cheddar biscuit, pimento cheese grits and deviled eggs.
Loaded sweet potato - sweet potato loaded up with pulled pork, sour cream, cheddar and cilantro.

Transition Update

Green River Picklers
Runner transition #7 will be located at Tuxedo Park in Tuxedo, NC. Across the street, in the old post office, is the home of Green River Picklers. At Green River Picklers, they strive to produce the highest quality pickled vegetables using the simplest and most sustainable means. All pickles are locally sourced, consciously produced, and hand packed in small batches. They will be at the transition, so make sure you stop by and get a taste!

Want to get text updates before, during and after the race? We will be communicating important information via text using the Remind app. Just text @V2V2018 to 81010 and you will get safe, secure race information sent to your phone.

2018 Race Theme - Support Local

The race theme for our inaugural event will be "Support Local". Our theme is inspired by the support we have received from small businesses in our region and the cities that will host our race. We also recognize that the Ville to Ville wouldn't be near as exciting if our participants weren't coming from 27 states, D.C., and Canada! So in celebration of all of our local cities, states, and regions, please plan to represent your local area with fun outfits and costumes. There will definitely be a prize worth winning for showing your local pride on the race course!
