Don’t look now but summer break is half way complete and we have less than one month before students return to school. Our staff has been very busy preparing for the 2018-2019 school year. We are excited about seeing our returning students and look forward to welcoming all our new additions to the CHCA family. Information regarding back to school events, summer reading, textbooks, uniforms and supplies can be found on the school’s website at chcacademy.org and in this edition of the Warrior Express.

We want to remind everyone that student activities fees were due in June. These fees cover admission to athletic events, local field trips for church campus students and special events during the year, including our 2nd annual homecoming carnival. Tuition payments for the 2018-2019 school year begin in July. Payments are due on the first of each month and are late after the 10th of each month. High school schedules for the 2018-2019 academic schedule were mailed last week. Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Richardson have spent many hours this summer preparing the schedules to meet the needs of our students while also working within the parameters of our staff. We have considered all options for student schedules and have prepared the best option for each student. As a result, we ask that you hold all schedule change requests until August. Students may request schedule changes August 9th-13th by completing a schedule change request form in the office. Students will be notified of the request change by Friday, August 17, 2018.

Warrior Summer Football Camp will take place on Monday, July 30, and Tuesday, July 31. Camp will last from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: West Campus, 7355 Creekwood Dr., Mobile, AL
Cost: $50 for both or $30 for one day - CHCA Elementary Players are 1/2 that listed price if signed up on elementary teams to play.

Tuition payments for the 2018-2019 school year began July 1. Tuition payments are due on the first day of each month. A $50.00 late fee is charged if tuition is not received by the 10th of the month. Tuition payment options are as follows:
Option 1: One annual payment due July 1.
Option 2: Semi-annual payments due July 1st and Jan. 6th.
Option 3: Eleven monthly payments due the 1st of each month (July-May)

Activity Fee Due in June

The student activity fee is due in June each year. The fee will provide free admission to all athletic events for students 1st-12th grade. It will also cover all local field trips and field day activities for the Church Campus.

Activity Fees are as follows:
1st-6th Grade- $100
7th-12th Grade-$125

Textbooks and supply lists are available on the CHCA website. Please note that Campus Bookstore is prepared to help you with textbook selections. Students can take a copy of their 2018-2019 academic schedule to 6109 Old Shell Road and they will be happy to help you!
