I've had this old, scratched end table sitting in the corner of our living room for years waiting for a little TLC. It was the first nice piece of furniture that my husband and I ever bought so it had sentimental value and I couldn't bring myself to part with it but the wood is darker than my current taste and the top was totally scratched up.

I finally went to town refinishing it this weekend and as soon as I started sanding off the old stain, I knew the "after" was going to be good!
