Dear Women of the Guild,

Merry Christmas to you and your families during this busy month of December. If you're looking for special Christmas gifts for family and friends, check out our knitting group's Pop Up Shop this Sunday morning, December 5th in the Parish Center. Hats, scarves, baby items and everything in between will be available for purchase. Read on for more details and don't forget to check out what's happening in 2022! The calendar is filled with a little something for everyone!

But before we turn the calendar over to a new year, remember to set aside a few minutes of quiet ... for the season of Advent is a time to prepare one's heart for the gift of love from Jesus and a time to pray for hope and peace in the world.

Stay well & God bless

Meals on Wheels

We are always looking for volunteers to serve as substitute drivers when one of our regular drivers is unable to drive. It is a simple way to help those in our community who are unable to shop and prepare food for themselves.

If you are interested in helping out, please email Laura Sorensen at laurasorensen@comcast.net. Thank you for your help!

November Recap

November began with a wonderful presentation on the Art & Architecture of Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Parish by architectural historian Dr. Denis McNamara. A big Thank you to Suzy Hick for making this special morning happen.

A week later, the Guild switched gears and focused on giving a little love to those in need. A huge thank you from the Service Committee to the generous and talented women who joined us on November 10 to create beautiful flower arrangements for residents of two local nursing homes. Arrangements were also delivered to parish and school staff and others needing cheer. We were blessed with a beautiful Fall day and were able to work outside the Parish Center with the Parish Center open for rest and refreshment. Special thanks to Diane Melio for the delicious hot chocolate and cookies and to Jeannie Schafer and Ashley Bock, who delivered the flowers to the two nursing homes. A wonderful and rewarding tradition continues!

Thank You Advent Candlelight Committee!

This year's Advent Candlelight program graced those in attendance with the gift of music, shared stories of faith, hope and love and a wonderful community of women. Thank you to those who made this evening possible, especially with all the challenges tied to Covid. A Beautiful night!
