THE STONE RESIDENCIES The New School- 55 W. 13th St.

TONIGHT, my Stone Residency begins with the all-encompassing Secret Quartet in some of my favorite pieces to play by Cornelius Dufallo, Lev Zhurbin, Trevor Dunn, and father of the 'New York School' of new music, Earle Brown!

TOMORROW will be with the fabulous Kathleen Supove and Neil Rolnick in the premiere of Deal With The Devil, a new work by Neil that is full of devilish pyro-techniques for the violin and piano intertwined with electronics! Then the set continues with Missy Mazzoli's A Thousand Tongues, Paola Prestini's The Phoenix, Huang Ruo's Wind Blows... and the world premiere of Jen Shyu's Jum Jeng Yi- Fortune Teller!
