A bee is an exquisite chemist. – Royal Beekeeper to Charles II

Vanishing of the Bees is a compelling documentary investigating the economic, political and ecological implications of the worldwide disappearance of the honeybee. You can view the film at the link above, on Netflix, or get the DVD from your local library.

Let’s do our part to help the bees by planting the right kinds of flowers and not using chemicals in our gardens. It’s easy and healthful for everyone and everything. Helping the Bees and the Butterflies lists some of the beautiful flowers you can grow.
