A Note From Mr. Sandefur
Lion Family,
As we stand just two days away from the start of new teacher training and the beginning of our full staff in-service, the excitement and anticipation for the new school year are palpable. We eagerly await the arrival of our dedicated educators as we prepare for the first day with our students on August 5th. This is a special time of year when we come together to align our goals, strengthen our bonds, and renew our commitment to the mission and vision of The King’s Academy.
This year, our chapel theme is "Rooted," inspired by Colossians 2:6-7: "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." This theme encapsulates the essence of our journey together—a journey of spiritual growth, purposeful living, and impactful mission. Our goal is to help our students deepen their roots in Christ, nurturing their faith so that they can stand firm in their beliefs and flourish in all aspects of their lives.
As we embark on this new academic year, let us embrace the opportunities ahead with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit eager to serve. We are profoundly grateful for the dedication and partnership of our faculty, staff, students, and families. Together, we are not just preparing for another school year; we are cultivating a community rooted in Christ, ready to grow, and poised to make a meaningful impact in the world. Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we begin this exciting journey.
In Christ,
Jeremy Sandefur
