Wine classes are held on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at 1249 Wine Bar in Waterbury. Our Professor, Nelson Veiga, is a Master Sommelier who has traveled throughout the world's wine regions. He graduated from the Hotel Management University in Lausanne, Switzerland and has taught at School of Hospitality Management in Miami. He returned to Connecticut and opened retail wine stores in West Hartford and Waterbury. Come join Nelson. Live the good life, and celebrate the world of wine at 1249 Wine Bar!

The founder of Señor Sangria didn’t plan to start a sangria company. As he said, it found him. Señor Sangria was created by Rick Martinez from a personal sangria recipe originally developed for friends and family - who enjoyed it so much that they encouraged him to start a business. His dedication to quality is inspiring, and his concoction is, as well.
Red Señor Sangria is made from Chilean Merlot, natural fruit juices and pure cane sugar. The new White Señor Sangria starts with a base of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc blended with real pineapple, orange, lemon and lime juices.
