Here's The Latest #119
May 19, 2018
If I had to pick a favorite season, I do believe it would be spring. The greening up of all the trees, cool mornings and evenings with daytime temps mostly in the 70's...it's perfection. Our walks this past week have been nothing short of glorious, with crabapple trees in blossom in so many yards. I love the variation in colors, from white to all kinds of pink, to nearly crimson. And the smell! It's like our entire neighborhood got a sprinkling of sweet spring perfume!
We're headed to NYC soon for a family vacation, showing our daughters the big city for the first time. If you have any recommendations for especially awesome things to do/see/eat with kids (our girls are 16 and 11) while we're there, please reply to this newsletter - I'd love to hear from you!
My Favorite Things this week... I read cookbooks like novels, so I always welcome a new one for my bookshelf. Especially when they're such pretty cookbooks as this one (link HERE). I received a copy to review, my bedtime reading this week. I'm looking forward to cooking and baking from it - and I'll be sharing a giveaway of one copy soon!
Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company.
Have a beautiful weekend,
-Brenda
