January 2016 Newsletter

In line with the theme of the album Life in the Eye, the Lord has been leading me lately to greater awareness of His presence.  You can’t concentrate on more than one thing at a time, of course, but you can find ways to remind yourself to pause often during the day and remember that you’re not alone.  That awareness keeps things in perspective and keeps His peace reigning in my heart.

It takes some discipline and feels weird to examine your own thoughts, but give it a try.  I know He wants to be just that close to His children all day long!

What’s New Here

In December, I posted a video cover of the song “What Can I Give Him?”  To illustrate it, I revived my cartooning skills and created a series of colorful stills.  It’s an “ancient” recording, recently remastered and remixed.  I know Christmas is over, but can still check it out!

“Perfectly Loved” landed on YouTube this month.  In the video, a handful of musician friends and I mash up to celebrate the warmth of God’s inner peace.  We all get to carry that sunny day around with us everywhere, no matter what the weather is outside. Yeah!
